Madhavi Mylavarapu
Carnatic Vocal
She is a Classical Carnatic Vocal artist. She has a background in Carnatic Music for several years. She plays Veena also. Her education in Classical art has been under her mother, Smt Addala Lalitha Devi, a reknowned Carnatic Singer in Andhra Pradesh. She herself has received her training under eminent Gurus like Late Sri Turayur Rajagopala Sarma of Madras and Late Sri Munuganti Venkata Rao and is a A.I.R artist for the last 45 years.

Training: She has been learning Vocal Carnatic from her mother from her childhood. Later she also learnt Veena for a few years from Smt. P. Suryakumari and A. PushaRammohan, also reputed artists of Andhra Pradesh.

Competence: She has won several prizes in Carnatic Music competitions at various stages and levels. She has also given a few performances -solo and along with her mother in various parts of India - Calcutta, Delhi, Hyderabad etc..

Experience: She has a good experience in teaching music in India (3 years)and presently in USA. She has a good knowledge of the theoretical aspects as well as the practical side to train learners with good structure.

Mohua Mukherjee
Light/Semi-Classical Hindi Vocal
She is a graduate in Hindustani Classical Vocal Music from the prestigious Faculty of Music and Fine Arts of Miranda House, Delhi University. She has learnt under the guidance of Pandit Debu Chaudhuri (Renowned Sitarist and Dean of Faculty of Music and Fine Arts of Miranda House, Delhi University).

She was pursuing her MA in Indian Classical Music when she got married and joined her husband in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. During her one and a half years stay in Riyadh she gave numerous performances. She also gave many stage and TV performances in various Indian organizations in Washington DC area. Her specialization is in Light and Semi Classical Hindi and Bengali songs (Bhajans etc.). Recently, she has been appreciated for her service as an expert judge at the 19th annual performing Arts Talent Fair organized by the Association of Indians In America, Washington DC chapter. She has also completed early childhood Montessori assistant course offered by the Institute for advanced Montessori studies. She has been a preschool teacher for the last 14 years in the DC area.

Currently she is working on a CD based on modern and semi-classical Indian songs.
